Green Policy

PRINT-RITE is committed to environmental protection that can contribute to ’sustainable development’ of the earth and mankind.

PRINT-RITE has developed a green policy aiming at meeting customer satisfaction while also contributing to sustainable development. It is achieved by developing, producing and providing high level of product quality and environmental quality in products and services. To implement the Green Policy, PRINT-RITE adopts the following four-pronged approach.

1. Design for Environment
   While PRINT-RITE will continue to expand it recycling activities in collecting more laser toner cartridges and inkjet cartridges for remanufacturing, PRINT-RITE will design all new and remodeled products with reference to general design principles that take the environment issues into consideration.
2. Waste Management and Treatment
   PRINT-RITE has designed, developed and implemented environmental friendly waste water treatment system and toner recycling system for inkjet and toner remanufacturing processes. PRINT-RITE will continue to enhance and upgrade all its waste management and treatment facilities to meet stringent environmental regulations.
3. Chemical Substance Management and Compliance
   To comply with various chemical substances regulations around the world such as RoHS, REACH, CPSC, etc., PRINT-RITE maintains and strengthens its systems for reliably collecting relevant compliance information and for ensuring the legal compliance of product development and marketing operations.
4. Employee Education
   PRINT-RITE conducts education and training programmes pertaining to the environment and quality for its employees from time to time. Employees will be updated with latest information regarding new regulations through attending external seminars and workshops as well as internal meetings and lectures.

 

The Print-Rite Take Back Recycling Program

The Print-Rite Take Back Recycling Program provides consumers with a free and convenient way of recycling their used, unwanted, obsolete or damaged cartridges for laser or inkjet printers of specified brands by dropping them off at designated locations, or other alternative methods may be available.
